This February and March, margarita lovers across the UK are invited to raise a glass to El Tequileño’s Margarita Mile, a month-long celebration of the world’s most iconic Mexican cocktail.

Bars and restaurants nationwide will be shaking things up with exclusive menus and house pour features throughout the month, with a packed programme of events centring on the key Mile week, 16th – 22nd February, marking the lead up to National Margarita Day (22nd February).

2026 is set to be the biggest year yet: three official Miles – Manchester, Central London, and East London – will be joined by venues across the UK through Map Your Marg, taking the margarita celebration nationwide.

what is margarita mile?

Margarita Mile is a national celebration of the classic margarita, founded by tequila legends El Tequileño.

Launched in Manchester in 2023, the Mile has since taken place in Leeds, London, and even Hong Kong – marking the start of its international expansion.

The campaign’s impact hasn’t gone unnoticed. Margarita Mile was crowned Best Event of the Year at The Spirits Business Awards 2025, alongside multiple additional accolades for El Tequileño.

For the first time, venues across the UK will be putting on special menus, house pour features, events and more for a full month, with the big celebrations happening 16th-22nd February, culminating on National Margarita Day.

All new for 2026, a selection of exciting alcoholic and non-alcoholic partners will be joining the campaign to get venues crafting new and exciting takes on the El Tequileño margarita.
